Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
Our church community is blessed to be able to share significant turning points in a person’s life. We surround these moments, and those who participate with prayer and love. Baptism and Marriage are sacraments that invite both gratitude for God’s gifts, and commitment to live in Christ’s love. All sacraments are celebrated in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer.
Grace Church welcomes all who wish to celebrate these important moments. Please contact the clergy to explore celebrating these sacraments.
Baptism
In baptism we enter into a loving and intentional relationship with God in Christ. It is a way to receive the gift of new life, and to begin to model our lives on Christ’s life.
In it we are buried with Christ in his death. By it we share in his resurrection. Through it we are reborn by the Holy Spirit. (Thanksgiving over the water: Book of Common Prayer)
We offer Baptism on significant Sundays in the Church’s calendar year. The list at right includes those dates for the upcoming year, 2024. Baptism is always celebrated (with the exception of emergencies) as part of community worship.
Weddings: The Sacrament of Marriage is offered to those couples who seek God’s presence and blessing in their lives, and who seek to make a commitment of holy lifelong faithfulness. Weddings are offered to couples of all orientations and identities.

The Rite of Burial proclaims the good news of everlasting life in Christ. Grace Church hosts these gatherings for those who wish to surround this moment in prayer and hope.
The Grace Church Columbarium has been established, through the generous gift of Mrs. Richard Howe and others, to provide a Christian place for the interment of members of the parish and their immediate families who have been cremated.
Please contact the Parish Office to arrange for baptism, marriage or to report a death or hospitalization.

One of the most moving services of the church is the Burial of the Dead (found in The Book of Common Prayer, p. 491-505). At a funeral service, the body or cremated remains are present; a me…
